Am I going to have enough? How much is enough? How early can I retire? What happens when? We will work with you to answer all the questions that worry you. Here’s some information to get you thinking about your pension and retirement plans. We also offer pension reviews at no cost, get in touch and let us help you find out how much you’ve got in your pension and how well it’s performing.

planning your retirement

Thinking about retiring in the next few years? Now is the time to take a glance at:

  • How much state pension you’ll receive

  • The amount in your pension pots: personal and/or employment

  • A total of your savings and investments

Using these figures, you can start to put together a budget planner noting what your income and potential outgoings will be in this new pattern of living.

With our experience and in-depth retirement knowledge, we will explain what options you have ahead of you in plain English, so you are 100% sure you’re making the correct decisions.

As we know your circumstances are different to everyone else’s your retirement plans should be tailor-made too.

We can talk to you about whether you want to boost your pension pot before retirement comes, or maybe you want to move your money to lower risk investments. But of course, that’s not just it. We’ll continue to hold your hand and make adjustments that suit your life as you settle into retirement.

Hopefully you’ve been building up your pension nicely over the years, so let’s look at what you have to reassure you the retirement you want is just around the corner.

“I had an appointment with Geraint to discuss my pension options. He was brilliant, he explained the process to me in a way that I could understand. He also suggested what option would be best for me taking my circumstances into account.”

building your pension

It’s never too early to start thinking about your retirement. The earlier you save and build up your pension, the more money you’ll have to play around with when you retire.

If you want a retirement where you can take a few holidays a year, spoil the grandchildren or pursue a hobby, you can’t simply rely on your state pension, nor your workplace pension (depending on the job you have of course). Sometimes you need to take things upon yourself, especially in this instance, if you want to guarantee your own and your families security.

Now, there are two ways to go about this. You can either look at your lifestyle now and we can tell you what this will look like when you retire OR you can tell us the lifestyle you want when you retire and we can tell you what you need to do now to achieve it.

“You explained the process to me in a way that I could understand.”
